Blog Instructions, Guidelines, and Expectations

Welcome to the Windsor 8 Heroes Expedition Blog. Throughout this expedition, we will be using the blog to discuss information, share thoughts, and comment on each other’s opinions. Below are some instructions on how to use the blog. There are also some guidelines and expectations to follow when using the blog. Please read through all of this information and then complete the task at the end of this post.

How it Works
1. Teachers will write posts to the blog. These may be questions, situations, or controversial thoughts. Posts are organized into categories, which are listed on the right hand side of the blog.

2. If you have a response or an opinion to the teacher’s post, you can write a comment.

3. To write a comment, click on the “comment” link under the post. Remember that all comments need to be signed with your first name.

4. You may need to hit “refresh” in order to see your comment.

Guidelines
1. Feel free to write posts whenever a thought comes to mind. However, if it is during class, make sure you have the teacher’s permission first. You can write posts from home, the library, a coffee shop, from a relative’s house. . .anywhere.

2. When you write a comment, you need to provide your first name only (no last names, for privacy). You also need to provide an email address. Use a personal email address of yours. WordPress.com doesn’t send you any spam, so its ok to put that information on the page.

3. It might make sense to write your comment in AppleWorks first so that you can spell check it. Since anyone in the world can read this, you want to sound as intelligent and polished as possible.

Expectations
1. All comments that you write to the blog should be about the expedition. Off topic or irrelevant comments will be deleted by the blog management team.

2. This blog is LIVE. That means, as soon as you write a comment, it is posted on the internet and anyone in the world can read it.

3. Blogs work best when everyone is free to write whatever they want. The W8 teachers and the administration fully trust the students to use the blog appropriately. Show the rest of the world (literally!) what you are made of.

Once you have read all of these instructions, write a quick comment to this post. In your comment, say that you have read and understand the guidelines and expectations. Remember to sign it with your first name.

The guidelines of these web logs have been understood by myself to the utmost for the betterment Heroes Expedition. The instructions will be upheld for the promotion of the student web log moderating team. In my opinion, a hero is someone who stands up for something they believe is right or good, No matter what anyone else thinks. Usually, these are things that some or most people would not do or may disagree with.

i dont know who those people are and i think adam is because he went from being the poorist man to winning the campane!!!!!!!! cause he beleaved that he could do it and he is a heroe because he went for something when he new he was not going to win but he did!!!!! if i have not said eveything thing then tell me cause im missing something (i think)
