At first I thought that famouse, and fictional people were heroes, but then i realized that every day people can be heroes too. All they have to do is somthing heroic. =)
I have learned that heroes can be anyone. Heroes can be an average joe or someone whose famous that you look up to. Like I’ve said heroes depend on who you are.
My thoughts havnt really changed at all about heroes, but I have learned some things about new people that I never would have thought had done these things.
I think they have changed because it doesn’t matter if they are famous or not but it matters what they have done or it they had good intentions while doing it not by their characteristics or what they look like. It is about what they do.
My opinions have not changed much. The only thing that was changed was my thought that made me think heroes don’t have to do the normal every day help and save. My hero does not have the normal help save the people idea.
My ideas hav’nt changed, but rather been enriched. Everyony thinks the same thing i do about hero’s. I did however learn that most hero’s are just ordinary peaple.
My idea about hero changed by knowing that heroes can be anyone and the heroes that I heard about today they’ve all helped other people out and made a difference and became famous for what they have done.
My definition of the word hero has changed because as before i said that a hero doesn’t have to be someone that everyone has to know and not rich or handsome or bountiful but someone that does anything that people will like about them one day and that people will remember you ten years from now.

A hero is someone who truly just wants to help and make a diference, no matter what will happen to them. A hero does not help people for personal gain, but to know that they are making their mark and hoping that others will follow. A hero is like a warrior. Some are strong others weak, but no matter what they still fight. A hero knows honor and seeks a better life for all with every passing day. Judge a hero not by how big their actions are, judge them by their actions alone.
My opinion of a hero is someone that has bravery and is not afraid to show what they think to make a difference. To people who make these differences isn’t afraid of punishment or conciquences.

Firemen/women are a good example, because they put their lives on the line to save others, but they are everyday people with their own lives, families, and friends.
usually i thought that heroes are only people who were there for one another hand in hand but there’s more than that because most heroes are known for donating and helping others in the world. Even if they grew up with a bad life they’re willing to help people make theirs better.

I think it is pregidice how people are judging others heros. I mean, come on we have freedoms that allow us to choose who we want. I just don’t think it’s right if someone tells us we can’t have that hero or that they have to meet a certain criteria. Dont you?:D
I think this expedition is great to keep people thinking and sort of on their toes. I’m also glad that we have the opportunity to pick who our heroes are. We all have different interprations on what a hero is and that ROCKS!!!!!
i thought heros were people that were like fire fighters and cops but now know they can be people like presidents and people who fight for black rights
Very interesting, Katie. I don’t believe its right for others to tell us we can’t have a hero that doesn’t fit the criteria. You can have any hero you want, but the one you present needs to (apparently) meet the standards. Eh, yeah, the criteria is weird but you should still present your hero… she’s cool. And I think she meets most of the criteria (right?).

befor i thought that heros were policc and firefithers and now i know that our heros can be anybody.
When i think about the word hero I think about people that help and protect me, about people who save me from dangers.
Heros r great people who searve others in a time of need and can do things 4 other peole and not 4 them selfs.
i learned that heroes CAN be celebrities
but they have to actually do something.
